SSC CGL Tier 1 Syllabus
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is a computer-based exam that consists of four sections, namely General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. The following is the detailed syllabus of each section.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section tests a candidate’s logical and analytical skills. The syllabus includes topics like analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding, and decoding, etc.
- General Awareness: This section tests a candidate’s knowledge of current events and general knowledge. The syllabus includes topics like History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy, Scientific Research, and Sports, etc.
- Quantitative Aptitude: This section tests a candidate’s numerical ability and problem-solving skills.
